Union urban development minister Jaipal Reddy on Tuesday said that the government will soon make available slum lands in New Delhi for re-development. The government will follow the Mumbai model where land is auctioned to the real estate developers for building flats. OSLO, NORWAY – 25 Nov 2008: The Norwegian oil and gas giant StatoilHydro has signed a long-term agreement for IBM (NYSE: IBM) to implement a solution expected to bring significant savings through an intelligent and more efficient process for the management of turnaround projects.

A turnaround or shutdown of an oil field typically takes between 10 000 and 80 000 man-hours. Up to now, all repairs and shutdowns have been planned based solely on information regarding the maintenance record of equipment and assets.
